1. Service Provider Information

This French Week Immersion program is organized by PERMATHEQUE, a French non-profit association (Association Loi 1901), registered under SIRET: 93406037700017, with registered office at 6 Rue de la Mairie – 06260 La Rochette, France. The program is conducted in Kochi, India, in partnership with local service providers.

2. Booking & Contract Formation

A binding contract is formed upon payment of the booking deposit. By making payment, participants acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to these terms. Participants must be 18 years or older, or accompanied by a legal guardian.

3. Services Included

The program fee includes: accommodation for 2 nights, all meals during the program, local transportation, French language and cooking sessions, cultural activities, program materials, and digital photographs. Airfare, personal expenses, and items not specified are excluded.

4. Health & Safety

Participants must inform organizers of any dietary restrictions, allergies, or medical conditions at booking. Participants are responsible for their own travel and health insurance. The organizer maintains liability insurance for activities conducted during the program.

5. Program Modifications

PERMATHEQUE reserves the right to modify the program schedule due to unforeseen circumstances, weather, or safety concerns. In case of program cancellation by the organizer, participants will receive a full refund. Minimum 3 participants required for program to proceed.

6. Limitation of Liability

PERMATHEQUE’s liability is limited to the program fee paid. The association is not liable for indirect damages, loss of belongings, flight cancellations, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Participants are advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance.

7. Intellectual Property & Privacy

Photographs and videos taken during the program may be used for promotional purposes unless participants opt out in writing. Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and Indian data protection laws. Program materials remain the intellectual property of PERMATHEQUE.

8. Code of Conduct

Participants must respect local customs, fellow participants, and program staff. Disruptive behavior, harassment, or violation of Indian laws may result in immediate program termination without refund. Alcohol consumption is permitted only during designated wine tasting sessions.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by Indian law for services provided in India. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to arbitration in Kochi, Kerala, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

10. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, pandemic restrictions, government actions, war, terrorism, or natural disasters.

11. Compliance & Tax

PERMATHEQUE operates in India in compliance with Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) where applicable. GST at 18% is applicable on services provided in India. Tax invoices will be provided upon request.
