I've worn many hats in life - working in restaurants, agriculture, and regular jobs - but 10 years ago I chose something different. I set out to travel the world, not as a tourist, but as a guest in people's homes. I've lived with locals, shared their meals, and discovered cultures in the most authentic way possible.

Is it beginner-friendly ?
Yes, the experience is designed for complete beginners, so no prior knowledge of French is required.
Language Support
Although a translator will be present during the stay, basic English is required to fully benefit from the immersion.
Robin speaks English, French and Spanish, while Karishma speaks English, Malayalam and Hindi. She will support translations when needed.

All-Inclusive
Once your participation is paid, everything is included during the stay — you won’t have to spend anything extra. Unless, of course, you want to book a personal photography session with Karishma before you leave… ?
Check-in / Check-out
2 days / 2 nights : We are delighted to receive you the previous day by 18:00 so we can get to know one another over the first meal.
The immersion ends the last day at 18:00 — time to enjoy the wine tasting and a final evening together. Participants who booked a personal photography session will enjoy an extra night and their shoot between 10:00 and late afternoon the following day, depending on the best light.
Safety measures
Separate rooms for men and women (unless couples).
Everyone is responsible for their own possessions.
All efforts will be made to secure the stay. We recommend bringing a small locker if you carry valuables.
Booking & Payment Terms

Payment Policy
- Booking Deposit: ₹10,000 required upon registration to secure your spot and confirm accommodation arrangements.
- Balance Payment: Remaining amount must be paid at least 10 days before your selected program date.
- Early Bird Special: Pay in full before October 15th to receive 10% discount on the total package price.
- Payment Methods: Online payment by Credit Card, Bank transfer, UPI. GST applicable as per Indian tax regulations.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- More than 20 days before: 90% refund of total amount paid
- 10-20 days before: 50% refund of total amount paid
- Less than 10 days: No refund (except documented medical emergencies, evaluated case-by-case)
- Booking Deposit: The ₹10,000 deposit is 50% refundable if cancelled at least 15 days before the program date, as it covers advance venue and provision bookings.
- Refund Processing: Once approved, your refund will be processed within 7–10 business days.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Service Provider Information
This French Week Immersion program is organized by PERMATHEQUE, a French non-profit association (Association Loi 1901), registered under SIRET: 93406037700017, with registered office at 6 Rue de la Mairie - 06260 La Rochette, France. The program is conducted in Kochi, India, in partnership with local service providers.
2. Booking & Contract Formation
A binding contract is formed upon payment of the booking deposit. By making payment, participants acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to these terms. Participants must be 18 years or older, or accompanied by a legal guardian.
3. Services Included
The program fee includes: accommodation for 2 nights, all meals during the program, local transportation, French language and cooking sessions, cultural activities, program materials, and digital photographs. Airfare, personal expenses, and items not specified are excluded.
4. Health & Safety
Participants must inform organizers of any dietary restrictions, allergies, or medical conditions at booking. Participants are responsible for their own travel and health insurance. The organizer maintains liability insurance for activities conducted during the program.
5. Program Modifications
PERMATHEQUE reserves the right to modify the program schedule due to unforeseen circumstances, weather, or safety concerns. In case of program cancellation by the organizer, participants will receive a full refund. Minimum 3 participants required for program to proceed.
6. Limitation of Liability
PERMATHEQUE's liability is limited to the program fee paid. The association is not liable for indirect damages, loss of belongings, flight cancellations, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Participants are advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance.
7. Intellectual Property & Privacy
Photographs and videos taken during the program may be used for promotional purposes unless participants opt out in writing. Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and Indian data protection laws. Program materials remain the intellectual property of PERMATHEQUE.
8. Code of Conduct
Participants must respect local customs, fellow participants, and program staff. Disruptive behavior, harassment, or violation of Indian laws may result in immediate program termination without refund. Alcohol consumption is permitted only during designated wine tasting sessions.
9. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by Indian law for services provided in India. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to arbitration in Kochi, Kerala, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
10. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, pandemic restrictions, government actions, war, terrorism, or natural disasters.
11. Compliance & Tax
PERMATHEQUE operates in India in compliance with Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) where applicable. GST at 18% is applicable on services provided in India. Tax invoices will be provided upon request.
